About me

There are people who always know exactly what to do or how to do it and which way of working is the best. I do not count myself there. There are people who are professionals in software development. Others program any algorithms on DSPs and FPGAs daily. Still other people are professionals in metalworking. And there are people who know all sorts of vacuum tube circuits and have the basement full of “empty glass flasks”.

Somehow I do not fit in any drawer, although I have dealt with all these things in the past – sometimes professional, sometimes as a hobby. I definitely like craftsmanship and CW (Morse Code). A morse key handmade in a workshop with the highest precision and generating clean Morse code by hand – that’s comparable to a musician playing a high quality instrument. And I think we have to care for and maintain such things. And maybe a piece of solid workmanship is just what the hobby amateur radio can get us for a few more years.
